The Highway of Heroes is the portion of the highway between Canadian Forces Base Trenton and the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto. It is called that because it is the road travelled by fallen Canadian servicemen and women from the Canadian Forces Base to the coroner's office in Toronto. Ordinary people wait for hours on bridges and along the route with flags in homage to the fallen soldier and their family. This song is about The Highway of Heroes. I don't condone drinking or alcohol, but these are awesome commercials...and most of it is true!!!!!!
